TYPE 01

Dundas Type 01 is a combination of a classic Norwegian "semi-tourist" and a Scottish shepherd’s boot.
The characteristic shape is pure form follows function. The massive toe spring is trickled down technology from centuries of walking in the terrain and has two very important features. First of all it gives incredible stability and balance, producing a perfect plattform not only for your feet but your whole body. Second it creates an airy and comfortable climate for your feet - the breathing characteristics of the Type 01 gives dry feet and a steady temperature regardless of weather.

The upper is constructed out of heavy 2-4mm vegetable and combination tanned leathers and no inner lining to avoid blisters, trapped moisture and unnecessary wear.
A triple vegetable tanned leather sole is brass screwed to the insole rather than sewn to the upper  - this makes the Type 01 hard to break in, but even harder to break.
